Fine Day Mini Market

On Saturday, June 14th, 2014, Dear Hearts will host Fine Day Mini Market at their location on 618 Foster St in Durham. The event kicks off at 3pm in collaboration with Small Room Collective, a mobile merchant and gallery space traveling from Austin, TX, and Grimm Vintage here in Durham. Vendors at Fine Day Mini Market include Dear Hearts, Small Room Collective, Grimm Vintage, Rumors (Chapel Hill), and The Walrus & Me.

Dear HeartsIn addition to the vendors, Donna and Stella have an exciting announcement for fans of the shop. “We thought it’d be a perfect time to introduce two local lines we’re bringing to Dear Hearts for Fall; Falcon & Wagen (textiles) and Freshly Given (leather accessories),” says Donna. Both additions bring local, handmade goods to the storefront.

The evening is a representation of the impact Dear Hearts has made since relocating to their brick & mortar location, and their introduction to Durham. It took little time for them to leave their stamp on the scene. Donna, in typical Durham fashion, is thrilled to help foster the DIY community:

A small party was created showcasing independent goods, music, clothing, local wares and most important, the fun of a new cross-country friendship and hospitality.”

Joe Hall of Blanko Basnet will provide soothing sounds for party goers, and Dani of the Ice Queens is dropping in to bring savory shaved ice flavored with the tastiest local berries and herbs.

You can RSVP for the event on Facebook here.
