Clarion Content Celebrates
Centerfest 2014 Weekend

Centerfest 2014

For the 3rd year in a row, the Clarion Content team will join in the celebration as a part of Durham Arts Council’s CENTERFEST this Saturday and Sunday for plenty of weekend shenanigans.

Centerfest 2012

Durham’s superheros suit up for the Escapism Festival at Carolina Theater on Centerfest weekend in 2012.

Denizens of Durham will be this year’s theme as we gaze into the future of Durham and how we will shape our own destiny. Your participation in this conversation is vital. We will look to you, the denizens, to voice your opinion.

Thanks to our 1000 Words panel, we have 3 ways you can contribute to the discussion:

  1. How would you describe the culture in Durham?
  2. What is your vision for Durham going forward?
  3. What is the process for seeing this vision come to fruition?

Share your thoughts and ideas on Durham and Centerfest using the hashtag #DurmPopuli

Stop by our booth located in front of The Parlour. You can enter our 50/50 charity raffle for a chance to win a collection of cool Durham merchandise while supporting the Durham Food Bank.

As usual, befitting our collaborative ways, we have an eclectic blend of Durham’s best and brightest on-hand throughout the festival. Representatives from Supergraphic, the Durham graphic design collective will be on-hand giving demos Saturday afternoon. Our friends from Durty Durham handing out stickers, talking Party Illegal and the upcoming Jamnesia Music Festival. We will also host BWPW Photography and HappyMess Art.

Fabulous partners in the Durham cultural milieu, RUNAWAY, will be there selling their amazingly popular shirts and hats, as well as talking about the future of their brand. The RUNAWAY team has already sponsored short films, and is looking for even more Durham cultural ventures to invest in.

Most importantly, celebrate your ass off this weekend, Durham! You earned it!
