Our annual Summer Durham delight, the injection of culture, verve, enthusiasm, and bliss that is the American Dance Festival (ADF), is flying by us. We are almost at the halfway point already, so if you haven’t made plans and gotten tickets: Tempus fugit. Carpe diem.
We thought we’d give you a little glimpse of the fun and fantastic events that surround ADF. Our Tyler French, a rising senior at East Chapel Hill High School, caught the ADF-Runaway opening party after Pilobolus danced at the Durham Performing Arts Center. We can hardly believe nearly three weeks have passed since.
The final Durham ADF performances of 2016 accompany the last days of July. Don’t miss out. Clarion Content favorite from 2015, Company Wang Ramirez is still to come Friday and Saturday, 7/22 and 7/23. Plus, long time ADF stalwarts The Paul Taylor Company dance the following weekend, 7/29 and 7/30.
All and all a very DURM kind of evening, and a great kickoff for American Dance Festival, 2016.
