Nicole Oxendine

We were delighted to have Nicole Oxendine come on the Clarion Content podcast. Nicole is a choreographer and dance teacher at Hillside High School and has been teaching for twelve years. In 2003, she graduated from Hollins University in 2003, then received her Master’s Degree in Dance/Movement Therapy from Columbia College Chicago in 2012.

Nicole is an empowerment advocate and an entrepreneur, with a unique talent for propelling young women to express themselves through dance. She owns and operates Empower Dance Studios, where Faith Empowers Movement. Oxendine has worked as the Program Coordinator for A Long Walk Home which uses arts to advocate against sexual violence and as Festival Services Coordinator for the American Dance Festival. She is also a principal dancer for Bellan Contemporary Dance Theater.
