Alyssa (Schoeneman) Noble is a modern dancer and dance writer from Chicago, Illinois. While earning degrees in Dance and Journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Alyssa worked as a freelance writer for Dance Teacher magazine and Dance Studio Life magazine. In 2011, Alyssa joined the Triangle dance community, where she has had the pleasure of performing in Stacy Thomas Wolfson’s The Undergrounders (2015) and VECTOR’s Secrets I Never Told My Mother (2012).

Alyssa currently works as the Assistant Manager of Joe Van Gogh on Broad Street – a job that has connected her to the Durham community in a new, vibrant way. When she is not dancing or making coffee, Alyssa can be found exploring the amazing local food scene.
